Echoes of Grace1st Thessalonians 1:6-10The Thessalonians had RECEIVED the Word of God – not just listened to it, or heard it, but had actively accepted it into their hearts and lives, through the work of the Holy Spirit. The Greek word for ‘having received’ is based on the root amen. They had heard the word, and in their hearts they had said AMEN.
