ECISD expands drone education program opportunities

During the 2025-26 school year, Amazon invested ,000 in the Dee Howard Foundation, directly supporting East Central Independent School District (ISD) students through hands-on drone education and experiential learning. This investment is actively expanding the district’s Drone Classroom Program with equipment, industry-aligned curriculum, FAA Part 107 certification preparation, and professional development for educators.
