from Satellite Sisters

It's the day after Eclipse 2017 and we have a complete report from the totality + the partiality, the mountains and the plains, two wineries in Oregon, one stadium in Carbondale, IL, a parking lot in Dallas TX and a park bench in Pasadena, CA. Thanks to Away Luggage for sponsoring today's Satellite Sisters podcast.  To subscribe to Satellite Sisters on Apple Podcasts, click here.  To subscribe to Satellite Sisters on Stitcher, click here. Camping. A sure sign that the Eclipseolypse was upon us. Monica was doing sunrise yoga and listening to a Portlandia-inspired astronomer dude in Salem, Oregon at Brooks Winery. Jill, friend of the Satellite Sisterhood/former producer on The Oprah Winfrey Show/podcast producer, was in Saluki Stadium in Carbondale, IL after convincing her dubious husband that the totality was the only place to spend her birthday. Julie and Lian file their reports from the partiality. Julie concludes that "much joy was to be had" on her end, while Lian has a beef with some "toddler talk" on hers. Lian also joyfully provides a complete round-up of the eclipse love that all the Satellite Sisters shared with us on the Satellite Sisters Facebook Group.  You must take in all the happy photos there right now! Sisters from coast-to-coast, from the top of Mount Whitney to their own lounge chairs in their driveways. You're the best, Satellite Sisterhood. Thank you for your enthusiasm and embrace of this awesome celestial event. If you have not listened to our August 1 Satellite Sisters Eclipse 2017 Spectacular with our family astronomer Robert Kirshner, you can listen here. Cousin Bob explains the power of an eclipse in a way that's fun for the whole family.  We return from our August hiatus on September 5 with the first podcast of our new season. To pass the time until then, check out our entire audio archive here.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information. Sie garantieren für nichts, au Whole Faith Marcus & Jessa Myer Welcome to The Whole Faith Podcast, where we go deep into the things of God. We're your hosts, Marcus and Jessa Myer - a husband-and-wife team passionate about pursuing and telling the Truth. The more we study Scripture, the more we experience the ever-growing joy and pleasure found only in Jesus. We’ve been doing ministry together for the past 15 years, and one thing we’ve seen over and over again is that so many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are desperately hungry for a deeper teaching of God’s Word. In each episode, we explore theology, doctrine, and practical wisdom that every believer should have the confidence to pursue. Join us as we uncover essential truths from Scripture and tackle difficult, sometimes controversial questions to provide you with biblical answers. Where the Enemy wants to keep the Church in a place of shallow faith and theological insecurity, our hope is that these conversations will equip you with boldness and assurance!
