Economist says SA can expect favourable trade deals with UK as Brexit storm continues

from AM Live on SAfm · host SABC News and Current Affairs

SAfm — Economist Issac Mashego says South Africa should expect a good trade deal with the UK event after the Brexit deal has been finalised. This comes as EU Ambassadors meet in Brussels, Belgium today to consider the withdrawal plan, which British Prime Minister Theresa May is confident will work. Yesterday three British ministers and Brexit secretary Dominic Raab resigned. Some MPs have made a formal request for a vote of no confidence against May. The exit plan seeks to ensure that Britain leaves the EU by March next year. She spoke to a local radio station in London earlier today. Sound courtesy of the BBC.
