ECU Pirates Stun FAU in Series Opener

ECU shocks FAU with a 7-5 thriller, fueled by clutch offense and stellar pitching. Early sacrifice fly, a gutsy suicide squeeze, and late fireworks — including a two-run homer and double — sealed the win. Ryan Towers shut the door with a gem, while Colby Wallace earned the save. Grady Lenahan and Wallace led the charge with three hits apiece, and Bachman and Kalinich combined for four RBIs. The Pirates now sit one game behind first place in the AAC — and they’re not done yet. Series finale Friday at 6:30 PM ET. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
