Ed Barlow: Never underestimate the power of making someone feel heard, loved, and that they belong
from TWO AM I · host Jack Riewoldt & Shane McCurry
Episode 2: Ed Barlow It was never on Ed Barlow’s radar to become a psychologist. But his time as an AFL player dealing with injuries, feedback, non-selection and more, led him down the path to better understand himself, and in turn sparked a love in helping others do the same. From professional athletes and sporting organisations to juveniles in detention Ed is passionate to see everyone mentally manage the best they can through the ups and the downs of life. And his life hasn’t been without its challenges, growing up on the south coast of New South Wales, his family home was lost in a fire, taking with it many memories and mementos. Now at peace with what happened then, Ed embraces life, family, sport and his very special furry best friend, who barely leaves his side.
