Ed Brisson first became involved in comic creation in the early 1990s. He mostly works as a freelance letterer, and has worked for such companies as Image, ShadowLine, and Blackline Studios, among others. In 2005 he started New Reliable Press, a small publishing company that released eight books, including True Loves and You Ain't No Dancer, before officially ceasing publishing in May of 2011. In 2010, he wrote and self-published Murder Book Volume 1, which featured artwork by Simon Roy. Also in 2010, he wrote the story The Orchard, which was included in the crime anthology Acts of Violence. In 2011 he released Murder Book Volume 2, which featured art by Vic Malhotra and Michael Walsh. In 2012 he released the third volume of Murder Book; as well, he and Walsh began work on a comic book series called Come Back, published by Image in November of 2012. He is currently working on a short horror anthology similar to the Murder Book series.
