ED Evaluations: What Should My Urologist Look For When Diagnosing/Treating My ED?

This listener's urologist has recommended a pharmaceutical penile Doppler ultrasound to help identify the cause of his ED, and he's wondering whether that kind of testing is normal. Dr. Mistry explains that while a variety of factors might come into play, the causes of ED can be grouped into four domains: psychological, hormonal, neurological, and vascular. Young people are most frequently impacted by the kinds of psychological factors, like stress or performance anxiety, that can kill erections.
