We are thrilled to round out our 2018 bone2pick season (and 75th b2p interview!!) featuring a heartfelt, inspiring sit down with trombonist / composer / conductor extraordinaire Ed Neumeister. At the forefront of the international jazz and creative music scene for over 40 years, Ed generously shares his thoughts on his formative years in San Francisco working with everyone from Jerry Garcia to the San Francisco Symphony, his important move to NYC ultimately spending 19 years with the seminal Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra, relocating to Graz, Austria becoming professor of jazz trombone at the University of the Arts, focusing on his compositional and film scoring chops while living in L.A. and ultimately landing back in NYC dedicating his talents to the development of creative music.
