Ed Potyrala Painter from NJ Talks Creative Habits

from Creative Habit's Podcast | Exploring Habits for Tapping Into Creative Consciousness · host Wyatt Christman

Ed Potyrala is a painter from New Jersey sharing insights into what it means to have a dialogue with his painting. Ed believes in having a strong foundation of drawing to paint. In terms of creative habits he says, “You have to draw and paint from 50-100 old masters. What happens is it all comes together and depending on your particular character you develop your own style. Style is something you don’t find, your style kind of finds you. It’s based on who you are, your family, your teachers that you have had, the books you have read, the experiences you have had, the artists from the past who have inspired you and of course nature.”
