Ed Sheeran Tour in Political Turmoil | Belfast News

Ed Sheeran’s US tour is in chaos after Macklemore was axed for speaking out on Palestine, triggering a domino effect as all supporting acts quit in solidarity. Promoters cited venue concerns, while UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy expressed sympathy, noting fans just want to escape politics and enjoy music. Sheeran clarified he wasn’t responsible for the removal and emphasized his own views, even if he doesn’t always voice them publicly. With 17 dates left across the Americas, the tour faces an uncertain future as artists grapple with the delicate balance between personal beliefs and massive live events.
