Edie Goldberg: Sharing Untapped Talent Across Boundaries to Unleash Organizational Capacity

Our guest in this episode is Edie Goldberg, President of E.L. Goldberg & Associates in Menlo Park, California. She is a nationally recognized expert in HR and talent management strategy and organizational effectiveness. Prior to starting her own firm 19 years ago, she was a Global Thought Leader in the Human Capital Practice for Towers Perrin.  She is the co-author of The Inside Gig: How Sharing Untapped Talent Across Boundaries Unleashes Organizational Capacity (LifeTree Media, April, 2020).  Edie earned her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Albany, SUNY.  She is the recipient of HR People + Strategy’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and a Fellow of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology. She currently serves on the board of the SHRM Foundation and is an advisor to start-ups in Internal Talent Mobility.We connected with Edie as we saw many intersections between our views on career management and the need for organizations to take a more innovative approach.
