Edinburgh Man #122

from Edinburgh Man Podcast

The plan was to do this one live for the first time in a couple of weeks, albeit an hour earlier than normal. Basically over the last week or so Edinburgh Man Junior has been waking up in the evenings... and waking up with a certain amount of volume. As if by some sixth sense exactly 9pm too. Obviously Doctor Nic would be around, but like I say he's a bit loud. I mean really loud. So, hopefully he won't wake between 8pm and 9pm, hence the earlier show. It makes me realise how lucky we've been over the last year, so fingers crossed this is just a little blip. Anyway, today on the podcast we start with a track from the wonderful new Kid Canaveral album. iTunes tells me that I've played this track 35 times since David dropped off a CDR of the album before Christmas. I think that's probably a conservative estimate. There's also a track from one of my favourite albums on the year so far, Rick Redbeard's "No Selfish Heart". Lots more too, so let's stop blabbing and get on with it. Kid Canaveral - "Without a Backing Track" (Played courtesy of Kid Canaveral / Fence Records) Street Joy - "Disappoint You Girl" (Played courtesy of Street Joy, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Rick Redbeard - "Kelvin Grove" (Played courtesy of Rick Redbeard / Chemikal Underground) Uniform Motion - "The Telephone Box" (Played courtesy of Uniform Motion, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Surf Harp - "Dahlia Blume" (Played courtesy of Surf Harp, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Joshua Burnside - "BLACK DOG SIN" (Played courtesy of Joshua Burnside, Released under a Creative Commons licence) The Planes - "Tear the World Apart" (Played courtesy of The Planes, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Baffin Island - "You Make Two Weeks Two Days" (Played courtesy of Eardrums Pop, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Direct Download: Edinburgh Man #122 Subscribe in iTunes Subscribe to Podcast
