from Edinburgh Man Podcast

THE LAZY EDINBURGH MAN MID-YEAR REQUEST SHOW! Look at all those wires! That's the sort of nonsense needed to do the lazy Edinburgh Man mid-year request show. Yep, for the second year in a row I've been really busy at the start of June. So much so that I wasn't able to do ANY preparation for tonight's show. So I turned the playlist over to the twittering listeners - and (thankfully) they came up with the goods. Most of the music featured has been played on the podcast throughout 2013... there may be some rogue tracks, and there's definitely one that was rather selfishly my request. But all good stuff. Let's see what everyone wanted to hear again... Sparrow and the Workshop - "Shock Shock" (Played courtesy of Song by Toad) Kristin Hersh - "Secret Codes" (Played courtesy of Kristin Hersh, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Toby Goodshank - "Camel Ride" (Played courtesy of Toby Goodshank) September Girls - "Danny Wood" (Played courtesy of Soft Power Records) The Mountain Goats - "Thank You Mario But Our Princess Is In Another Castle (Live)" (Played courtesy of archive.org) The Planes - "Sonic Youth" (Played courtesy of The Planes, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Kid Canaveral - "Without a Backing Track" (Played courtesy of Kid Canaveral / Fence Records) Blind Willie McTell - "Statesboro Blues" (Played courtesy of archive.org) Book Group - "BOP" (Played courtesy of Book Group) Tiny Fireflies - "Snow" (Played courtesy of Tiny Fireflies, Released under a Creative Commons licence) Beat Mark - "Between My Teeth" (Played courtesy of Soft Power Records) Direct Download: Edinburgh Man #134 Subscribe in iTunes Subscribe to Podcast
