Edinburgh Man #76

from Edinburgh Man Podcast

It's the last podcast on a Tuesday night... and in keeping with the wonderful planning and renowned consistency of the podcast, it's on a Wednesday. After this week night classes are over, and Thursday nights become free again, so I'm moving the podcast back. To be honest, my body and mind never really got a hang of doing this on Tuesday nights. I just spent most of the week wondering what day it was. On today's show, two new singles from Edinburgh bands. Firstly My Tiny Robots are back with a great single "Guild of Defiants", and one of my favourite local bands PET have a new single "Middle Child Syndrome". There's also a track from the new album by Edinburgh's The Stormy Seas. It's not all new local music though, in fact, the show starts with a brilliant track from Allo Darlin's debut album that was released in the middle of last year. It's a top song though. So why not? Allo Darlin' - "Dreaming" (Played courtesy of Fortuna Pop / IODAPromonet) My Tiny Robots - "Guild of Defiants" (Played courtesy of Woodthief Records / My Tiny Robots) PET - "Middle Child Syndrome" (Played courtesy of PET) The Stormy Seas - "The Tall Ships" (Played courtesy of The Stormy Seas) Dad Rocks! - "Funemployment" (Played courtesy of Dad Rocks! / Released under a Creative Commons licence) Wounded Knee - "Love is Teasin'" (Played courtesy of Gerry Loves Records) Ana Threat - "Rock N Roll Jungle Girl" (Played courtesy of Ana Threat / Trash Rock Productions / Released under a Creative Commons licence) Mark Wynn - "World Can Wait" (Played courtesy of Mark Wynn)
