Edinburgh Man #99

from Edinburgh Man Podcast

This podcast was a bit of an experiment, at least in the technical sense. I recorded and edited it on an iPhone using a new little microphone. The reason for doing this was basically to see if it would be possible. That and I don't want to heave the laptop to the other side of the world next week, and I'd quite like to try and do a podcast from Melbourne. Anyway, I thought it prudent to do at least one test beforehand, rather than find out when I got there that it wasn't going to fly. Obviously this means that the podcast wasn't live, so you've just got me talking to myself, rather than the twitter masses. The other reason for the podcast being prerecorded was because I wanted to go to a gig tonight! It's the launch party for the debut album by Miaoux Miaoux, with support from Conquering Animal Sound and the Mitchell Museum. This is despite the fact I saw Conquering Animal Sound on Saturday in Avalanche Records... Two gigs in one week? Surely not...
