Edmonton take on Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals

The Edmonton Oilers finally get back on home ice tonight after a week away taking on the Boston Bruins, Columbus Blue Jackets, Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins. That road trip had mixed reviews from fans; however, they ultimately game away with five out of eight points, which is not all that bad. Midway through that trip, the team was joined by Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick after being acquired from the Anaheim Ducks, and then later by Troy Stetcher from the Arizona Coyotes.
