Edrian is a creative soul who realized early on that in order to live his authentic life that he would need to come out to his parents as gay. However, Edrian also comes from a very traditional Filipino family so this would make the experience doubly hard. None of us want to disappoint our family and we all want validation and love. We want to be accepted and have a bond with our mothers and fathers and if this deep desire doesn’t get met, what do we do? How do we make sense of this day to day and forge ahead with a life that still means something to us.
