Educate Yourself and Fact Check the Ignorance. — Ep26.

Imagine not being told “you can’t” and instead being challenged with, “how are you going to make it happen?” Journalist, Political Analyst, Author, and Grambling State Alum Charles Blow remembers his time at his alma mater as altogether empowering. This week’s I Love My HBCU? Conversation with Charles Blow has enough takeaways for Students and Alumni alike. He challenges you to take risks — with the careful reminder that it may not pay off, but you must make the journey to find out. There is his boisterous admonition of those who indulge ignorant political statements and an equally passionate appeal that educating oneself on structure, process and especially policy is key to responsible political and civic engagement. Grambling State Tigers, THIS conversation will remind or inform you of your proud heritage of togetherness over competition. Author of Fire Shut Up In My Bones and The Devil You know, you MUST hear Charles Blow talk about the power that lies within the Black south.
