Education: Are kids the problem or is it the system?

from RNZ - All Programmes

A few weeks ago, ACT candidate Paul Henry kicked off a debate about kids' behaviour in schools .. he argued that teachers should have more power to remove disruptive students from classrooms. At the time we spoke to a former teacher about what children are like in the classroom and whether behaviour is getting worse. We're going to talk about the issue again today because Sir Ian Taylor has written an opinion piece saying that we're getting distracted from much bigger questions about our education system. The founder and managing director of Animation Research chats to Jesse. [picture id="4JLIADN_Image_jfif" crop="16x10" layout="full"]
