Education is the foundation for a good life. Developing countries like Belize have a lot at stake and investing in opportunities through education is one of the reliable pathways for sustainable progress. Administrators, teachers, community members, regulators and students have a shared responsibility in making education impactful for their local community, nation, and global society at large.In this episode, we will explore the importance of a solid high school education that prepared our youth for an impactful life. She holds two Master’s degrees in Education, and is currently completing her Doctoral degree in Administration in Education. Her life’s passion lies in helping others. This is one of the main reasons she entered the education field, having been an educator for over 20 years. Principal Jones involves herself in different community-oriented activities and believes that empowering others with skills and knowledge is key to their development and that of our community.
