In a society that has so many pre-defined scripts that are ill-suited for the majority, many of us are still figuring out what plays into the expectations people ought to have of us, based in gender. With a focus on liberation, rather than restriction, the roles we enable ourselves to play, informed by our spiritual sense, biological sense, and mind's sense of gender, are and have always been ours to create, define, and evaluate for ourselves. Convention, tradition, and prescription were never as qualified as each one of us in harnessing the power and privilege inherent in our personal understanding of our own gender's expression.
