Rather than spend too much time focalizing on it, we create lifestyles that limit the interactions we have, navigating around it as much as possible. In effect, making it so that we fear is out of sight and out of mind. Until it isn't. When confronted with the things that scare us, many of us feel helpless Never thinking that the thing we know we "ought" to do... is the very action that will change they dynamic, and the conversation, around those fears. Fear demands that we focus on self-preservation. Few of us give ourselves enough credit in recognizing we have all that we need within us to at least align our actions in kind.
