Education MEC Lesufi looks into the death of 2 learners at a Primary School in Katlehong

SAfm — Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi has established a team to investigate the death of two learners at the Kumalo Primary School in Katlehong on the east rand. The siblings had earlier complained of stomach cramps and nausea. The grade one and grade four learners were rushed to hospital by their teachers but were certified dead on arrival. An educator who went to the pair's home to report their death to their parents, found another sick five year old who is now being treated at the Thelle Mogoerane hospital in Vosloorus.
