More than 22-thousand students, teachers, and academics were injured, killed, or harmed in attacks on educational facilities during armed conflict or insecurity over the past five years. This is according to Education under Attack 2020, a new 300-page report published today by the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack. According to the report, more than 11-thousand separate attacks on education facilities, students and educators took place between 2015 and 2019.
