Education: Student Agency and "Learner-Centric" Education

New year, new season of episodes. WELCOME TO SEASON 2!!  As younger students, many of us we went to school because it was mandatory. Slowly, as we grew older, we began to take charge of our own learning while traversing through the education system. But what exactly is "learner-centric" education? What does it mean when we say that we should take charge of our own learning? Beginning with a short story by passionate educator Helen Buckley, join Pauline and us as we unravel key rites of passage in the education of the current and future generation. Pauline is passionate about learning and development, having been a teacher and communications professional who created, implemented and managed various projects, at national and international levels. In 2020, she ventured into the entrepreneurship space with the goal of enabling learning through technology. She is currently an education and training professional.
