EDUCATION: What are Federally Qualified Health Centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers Look-Alikes?

The Federally Qualified Health Center Look-ALikes (FQHC Look-ALike) were created later as a way to expand these community health centers to reach more communities without allocating more government funding and fallsunder the Socials Security Act. Look-Alikes must abide by the same requirements as FQHCs as set out by the Health Resources and Services Administration, but without receiving the grant benefit.
