CONGRATULATIONS! to Edward Eden, Chief of the Fairfield Fire Department. Edward was named this week's First Responder of the Week! Edward was nominated by Sheryl, here is what she had to say: Chief Eden is beyond dedicated to his community. He has been a volunteer fire fighter since 1973 and chief since 1995. Day or night, when the tone goes off, he's out the door, very rarely missing a call. He spends countless hours devoting his time to the community attending meetings, trainings, and organizing pancake breakfasts and chicken BBQs. He's not only a great firefighter but the greatest dad in the world. He is my HERO!
