Over 70,000 pets are buried at Hartsdale Pet Cemetery, but not a single one is named Rover. Go figure. If you drive 25 miles north of New York City, you’ll find yourself in the charming town of Hartsdale, NY. With a population of only about twenty five hundred people, Hartsdale is home to one of the oldest and most famous pet cemeteries in the United States. Founded in 1896, today the cemetery is the final resting place for more than 70,000 pets, as well as some of their moms and dads. My guest today is Ed Martin III—the Vice President of the Hartsdale Pet Cemetery. He shares the rich history of this historical gem, famous pets buried there and the overarching lessons of inclusivity, unity and ever-lasting love that us humans can take away from the burial grounds. Bowie Book Club Podcast Greg Miller & Kristianne Huntsberger Two friends have had a book club for a very very long time. It was mostly an excuse to drink and gossip. In January of 2016, they found renewed purpose in their sadness over the death of David Bowie. They decided to stop mucking around and actually get some reading done - from the list of books that he loved. Explicit Hello Life WTF Perry & Lindsay Johnson Join Perry and Lindsay Johnson for a fun look at #parenting #relationships #marriage #death #health and all the #WTF that comes with it. We are real people with real struggles and we hold very little back. If you like fun and authentic real life then come give us a listen. We release on Fridays(mostly) and can't wait to get to know you and for you to get to know us. Explicit Acting Real with Kat Foster Kat Foster Kat Foster (JEAN CLAUDE VAN JOHNSON, WEEDS, TIL DEATH) interviews actors about how they use acting in their real, everyday lives – how they deal with fear, go with the flow and follow their instincts. She knows that these conversations will be both useful and inspiring for all listeners – actors and non-actors! Mostly, Kat's into exploring authenticity. In fact, out of respect for authenticity, she'd like to tell you that she wrote this blurb, but made it sound like she didn't, because that’s the convention. Hey. It’s me. Thanks for coming. I’m excited to talk ACTING REAL. I love you. Really. Explicit Ffs Don't Toggle Maps Holly Hodgson-Simmons I made a gaming podcast. There's expletives and yelling. However, it mostly also consists of talking incessantly about games I love (past and present), buzzing over upcoming releases, yelling about accidental deaths and button smashing. Above all- it's about fun. And lots of it. I will be joined by guests discussing everything from Mario to Metal Gear, free to play to needing to remortgage to play any Blizzard game. Shit talking and high praise guaranteed in unequal measure. Explicit
