Here's my Techno Bootleg of Edwin Starr's 'War' originally released in 1969 on Tamla Motown Records. Originally done as an album track by The Temptations, they didn't want to be seen as a 'protest' group so it was given to Edwin Starr for a single release and Starr delivers a powerful vocal performance of the Vietnam War protest song. 54 years on from it's release and our world is reeling from warfare in Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and elsewhere. Now the lyrics of the song resonate just as much today as they did in 1969. That's why I've done this bootleg..
