EE 151: The Jiu Jitsu Lifestyle with William Walker

In Episode 151 I sit down with Jiu Jitsu black belt William Walker AKA Bill. Bill is a blackbelt from a neighboring academy but we've recently been joining forces on Friday nights so our teams get cross-training with different people that they may not be used to rolling with! Slapping and bumping with someone you've never met before is great for both grapplers! It's similar to competition, in regard to entering the unknown, but still being in the comfort of your own academy with friends! Bill is a technician on the mats whereas I'm more of someone that's honed the basics to a high level, because of this our styles both complement each other's jiu jitsu while also being in conflict.
