EF#14 - Alicia

Here's my entry for round 14 of Everyone Flips which is a Facebook group where participants all make a beat using the same sample, followed by a listening party for all the submissions. So it's kind of "20 producers, 1 sample"! Producer name: CTFX Software used: Ableton Live 10 Short "blurb": This time I've done a drum n' bass track, but I've never done a good job mastering this genre... it might sound shitty af and if it does it's because I didn't have the time or the skills to do it. First went to the GaudioLab Studio website and separated the track in 4 instruments, bass, drums, vocals and others. I've used only the others track. Got a couple of chunks from the track and looped them. This was the base of the track. The first chunk was then pitched to an octave higher and added some delay and phaser, the second one was enhanced with just a little bit of reverb and the third one was just a little chord with added distortion and delay. The rest is history, some bass, some drums and some leads and chords that I found interesting to add.
