Summary

Here's my entry for round 15 of Everyone Flips which is a Facebook group where participants all make a beat using the same sample, followed by a listening party for all the submissions. So it's kind of "20 producers, 1 sample"! This time we're flipping "Booker T. Jones & Priscilla Coolidge - The Sun Don't Shine". Short blurb: My process was very quick, listened to the track and in the end when she sings "Our Love Lives On" inspired me to make a jungle track. So I went to mvsep.com to separate the guitar and vocals from the rest of the track (hint: if you use type Demucs4 you'll never be disappointed with the separation). Put some delay and filter on those vocals and Flux Mini 2 on the guitar for a different effect. Also used the guitar on double speed for the chorus.
