EFF has called off the protest action at Clicks stores with immediate effect after agreement with Unilever and Clicks

SAfm — The EFF has called off the protest action at Clicks stores with immediate effect. The party met with executives from both Unilever and Clicks in separate meetings at its headquarters in Braamfontein, Johannesburg yesterday. Clicks committed to drop all Tresemmé SA products from all its stores and replace them with locally produced products, while Unilever promised to withdraw the products from all retail shops for 10 days. EFF met with the two retail giants to discuss the damaging TRESemmé advert that triggered the party to launch protest action against Clicks for publishing the advert on its website last week.
