The EFF leader, Julius Malema was at the East London Regional Court this morning for his ongoing trial on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, and three counts of contravening the Firearms Control Act. He is accused of allegedly discharging a firearm at the EFF 5th Anniversary Celebrations.   🔴BREAKING NEWS🔴 Judge Twanet Olivier has denied EFF leader Julius Malema's application for discharge in terms of 174 of act 51 of 1997. The trial will proceed as planned, as the judge stated, "A mere say so that it was a movie gun does not make it so; it's not evidence. In light of the evidence presented so far."
