Efforts are ongoing to solve parking issues in Donegal Town.

Illegal parking and an insufficient amount of spaces in the town centre are said to be just some of the issues facing road users and business owners. The local economy is said to be thriving, with a number of new businesses added to the town over the last year. That success though is said to have presented some challenges with traffic and parking. Mayor of Donegal Town Anna Gallagher says long term solutions are in the pipeline:
