Nu i juni planeras Pridefestiavlen i Ungerns huvudstad Budapest. Men deltagare kan riskera höga böter – för premiärminister Viktor Orbán och hans högernationalistiska parti Fidesz har förbjudit allmänna sammankomster som anordnas av hbtqi-grupper. Det är en upptrappning av den starkt kritiserade ”antigaylagen” som kom 2021. Men nu ökar pressen på Orbán efter att en advokat vid EU-domstolen sagt att lagen bryter mot EU:s värderingar. Det är inte första gången Ungern frångår EU:s linje, har unionen tappat tålamodet med Orbán? Programledare: Linnéa Hjortstam.
