Eid-ul-Adha is Not Tied to Hajj

 Reflection delivered on August 17th, 2018 In his Dhul-Hijjah address, Shaykh Amin categorically dispels the false notion that Eid-ul-Adha and Hajj are connected.  He methodically explains that it is a historical and legal fact that the Hajj is a local event which does not contain the celebration of Eid, while Eid-ul-Adha is a universal occasion for every Muslim around the world to celebrate.  The Shaykh further proceeds to discuss the merits of these Blessed days along with its historical significance.
