Send us Fan Mail Jane Richard’s story is one of resilience. Her life was turned upside down in one of the more remarkable calamities that you will hear about. But Jane had strong family roots in South Australia’s Limestone Coast, so when life closed one door, it opened another, and Jane charged on. Jane’s family vineyard is in the Wrattonbully district. Her sister Claire studied viticulture at Roseworthy and has ended up teaming up with Jane to make Eight at the Gate, two sisters with 8 kids and damn lot of heart. Given Jane’s unique background, she provides incredible insight on everything – from the plight of grape growers in the modern Australian Wine scene to the beauties of working a family business.
