Rookie linebacker and special teams player Kamu Grugier-Hill's journey to the NFL started in Honolulu where a close friend helped him get an opportunity to play at Eastern Illinois. Once on the mainland, coach Michael Hodges provided a support system that allowed Grugier-Hill to be selected by the Patriots in the sixth round of this year's NFL Draft.
