Eisenstone Wines - Stephen Cook is doing something very special
from The Cellar Door Podcast · host Tom Massey
Send us Fan MailThe Barossa Valley is a very special gem in the crown of Australian Wine, and within the Barossa there are some exceptional people making exceptional wines. I was recently privileged to get my hands on two bottles of Stephen Cook’s Eisenstone wines, from the Ebenezer sub region. I’m not sure exceptional really sums up my feelings about these wines. Stephen Cook, originally from New Zealand, settled in the Barossa to pursue his lifelong dream of making wines under his own label. Stephen is a big believer that wines should reflect a sense of place, and he does this extremely well. My comment would be that when drinking one of Stephen’s wines, you feel like you are being let in on something very special. This is Stephen’s story. A massive thanks to Stephen for joining me.
