EKU Basketball Honored, Eyes ASUN Tournament

Eastern Kentucky Universitys mens basketball team, the Colonels, are gearing up for the ASUN Tournament with notable achievements. Senior forward Montavious Myrick was named to the All-Atlantic Sun Conference Third Team, while senior Turner Buttry and redshirt junior Jackson Holt made the Academic All-ASUN team. Myrick, the preseason defensive player of the year, averaged nearly twelve points and seven rebounds per game, ranking high in the conference for rebounding and blocks. Buttry, with a 3.67 GPA, led the ASUN in free-throw shooting at over ninety percent, while Holt, a finance major, shot forty-four percent from three-point range. The Colonels, seeded seventh, face tenth-seeded Stetson in the first round, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals. These accolades showcase a resilient team ready for a deep postseason run, combining on-court prowess with off-court excellence. Support the showGet a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
