Juan Esteban Herrera, project leader and producer of the single, comments on the concept behind this release: “El Barrio recalls the classic spirit of the Medellín salsa of the 70s and 80s, corner salsa and steep streets, verbena and colors. In this song, the trumpet, the beats and a simple chorus generate a delicious and well applied formula that easily captures the listener and the dancer. " To achieve a clear salsa sound, the single has the collaboration of the talented Yoni Pérez on the trumpet, who is known for his collaborations with multiple groups in the city of Medellín. --- Esta canción evoca el sabor y la calentura de las calles de Medellín – Colombia. Eddy Grant & The Equals ‎ Baby Come BacK Buddy Kharola Dany Bazzicalupi The Equals sono un gruppo musicale pop/reggae/rock londinese della seconda metà degli anni sessanta. Sono ricordati soprattutto per essere stati il primo progetto musicale di Eddy Grant, chitarrista e principale compositore del gruppo, che in seguito intraprese una carriera solista ricca di successi internazionali. Oltre a Grant, la formazione del gruppo comprendeva i gemelli Derv e Lincoln Gordon (rispettivamente cantante e chitarrista), John Hall (batterista) e Pat Lloyd (bassista).Il gruppo iniziò a suonare a Londra nel 1965.
