Based on a short story by Arthur Machen, ‘The Islington Mystery, the film stars Arturo de Córdova, Amparo Rivelles and Elda Peralta and is written by Luis Alcoriza, who that year also wrote Buñuel’s THE EXTERMINATING ANGEL’.
