La universidad de Cornell sacó un estudio del 2019 en el que se revela que cerca de 3 billones de aves migratorias han desaparecido desde 1970. Siendo Colombia el país del mundo con más especies de aves migratorias esta cifra es muy preocupante. Las aves sirven para polinizar, para controlar las plagas, para dispersar las semillas, para airear los suelos y en sus vuelos aterrizan en los lugares donde encuentran los habitats que les permiten conseguir su sustento. Si esos habitats se deterioran las aves se ven afectadas. En este episodio de la serie El Fantástico Poder de las Aves, que A Fondo está haciendo con Audubon, vamos a hablar sobre las amenazas que se ciernen sobre las aves migratorias en tiempo de cambio climático.
