En el conflicto armado colombiano los repertorios de la violencia han sido múltiples y todos han dejado diferentes heridas en la sociedad colombiana. Pero, bien sea por el espectáculo del horror, por la cantidad de víctimas, por los impactos que buscaba generar o por todo lo anterior, dentro de estos repertorios ha destacado uno: las masacres. En este nuevo episodio hablamos con Andrés Fernando Suárez, sociólogo, magister en Estudios Políticos de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia e investigador del Centro Nacional de Memoria Histórica, sobre su libro El Silencio del Horror. Guerra y masacres en Colombia. Este es un libro que explora todas las aristas de las masacres ocurridas en el conflicto armado contemporáneo en Colombia. En sentido, podemos encontrar una importante reflexión y análisis a preguntas como: ¿Qué elementos componen y diferencian a una masacre de otros hechos de violencia colectiva?, ¿quiénes son los responsables?, ¿quiénes son sus víctimas?, ¿cómo se llevan a cabo?, etc. Publicado en el 2022, El Silencio del Horror.
