Hola apasionados del taekwondo, bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio de nuestro podcast “Pasión Taekwondo”.Hoy hablaremos de un tema sobre el que se hace mucha publicidad y no solo en el taekwondo sino en el mundo de las artes marciales. Hablo del fenómeno del acoso escolar o bullying.¿Es realmente el taekwondo una herramienta contra el bullying?La respuesta corta es que sí… pero una respuesta más real es que sí pero no como te lo imaginas normalmente.¿Por qué?Por qué la típica forma en que nos imaginamos que el bullying ayuda a las víctimas es a través de la violencia, la víctima de bullying estudia artes marciales e inmediatamente gana la confianza y las habilidades para vencer a sus acosadores.En el mundo real no es así.El bullying es un fenómeno grupal, no solo entre acosador y víctima. Hay estudios que indican que la presencia del “grupo” valida al acosador. Y también ha habido intervenciones en las que se enseña artes marciales pero a todo el grupo, no solo a la víctima.Esto puede promover una actitud más empática y sobre todo creo yo que puede promover una válvula de escape cuando los niños tienen sus capacidades demasiado reprimidas.Lamentablemente las escuelas en estos tiempos tienen ambientes demasiado tensos, los maestros normalmente solo se preocupan por el contenido académico. Tienen grupos muy grandes y los problemas y preocupaciones del individuo pasan a segundo plano.Los niños víctimas de bullying tienen problemas para socializar, imagina que el entorno de estos niños es poco saludable y encima vuelven a un hogar con problemas.Si la clase de taekwondo provee un ambiente social alternativo de carácter positivo tendrá un impacto saludable en la víctima de bullying independientemente de si aprende o no a defenderse.¿Suena interesante verdad?… aquí te comparto el audio.
