Kenraali Mannerheim ratsastaa Helsinkiin valkoisen armeijan ylipäällikkönä. Hetki on voittajille Taivas. Se oli Pyhä sota. Jumala siunasi voittajien aseet. Viimeiset vangit teloitetaan Hennalassa lokakuussa. Nainen löytää miehensä hiekkakuopasta Kokkolassa. Se merkitsi hänelle onnea. Anna Uskali palaa Raumalle, mutta hänen tuskansa ei pääty vielä. Riku Rouanne palaa Hennalan joukkohautojen luo v. 1922. AIKALAISÄÄNET: Toimi Sunell ja Kerttu Lampinen kertovat Hollolan kirkon tapahtumista Eino Mäkinen muistelee taivaltaan Hollolan kunnantuvalta Fellmanin pellon kautta Hennalan kuolemanleirille. Verna Warén kirjoittaa viimeiset rivit päiväkirjaansa päästyään ripille 30.8.1918. Hän saa rovastilta muistolauseen: ”Olkaa uskollisia kuolemaanne saakka, niin minä tahdon antaa teille elämän kruunun.” Päiväkirja ja Äänien kirja sulkeutuvat.
