A chat with Bobby, Dominic, and Troy from Electric Huldra along with fans Adam, Johnny, Anthony, Nick, and Audrey. As well as a brief hello from the guys in Slumlord Radio. Electric Huldra are a hard hitting rock band that channels a bit of the 70’s and stoner rock vibes while making the genre their own. I first heard them at Fuzz Fest where I became an instant fan.Our chat delved into how the band got started and in particular how Troy started playing the bass through his guitar. The band is working on new music with Adam Wilkinson handling the mix. They plan to release the new music on cassette as well as digitally.We talked a bit about the thriving local rock music scene and some of the awesome people within that scene. While the scene that Gene Simmons may have known with mega rock bands is gone, there is still plenty of great music. Our conversation wandered into influences, first albums and concerts.
