Seeking for some inspiration amongst completely different music styles, the band passed an exam to its own unique and cheeky sound. You listen and you always know what it is. Started with an upbeat bright indie single "Beauty Spot", got all the bass throughout the “Borderline”, the band has already been known for sleek, languid songs from 2014 EP "Lono". The dubious term “indie R&B” has already been projected on the band by various magazines and blogs. With this music Mana Island was chosen by FOALS to join band on their Russian tour in Moscow and St.Perersburg. New Single "Stare" is an attempt to leverage between prominent tenacious guitars and vibey, soul-driven sound. Working on its debut yet-to-be-named album, Mana Island grasps for a familliar 00's MTV-style pop.
